<>Mark was in shock when I told him, "honey, I know you don't like surprises, but I couldn't help myself and planned a surprise party for you today, and 45 people (I did not realize there was actually more) are waiting to wish you a Happy Birthday. And since I just told you, now its not a surprise, okay. Shall we go to the Party?"
Poor Mark, that was a mean thing for me to say, because his jaw dropped and there was a look of horror in his eyes. I quickly ushered him to the waiting computer, and he was greatly relieved when he saw that the party was an "online" surprise. Whew!!!
He loved it! He said it was really neat to see comments from everybody, especially people we have not seen in awhile.

After that we put the kids to bed and invited my brother and sister with their spouses to come and enjoy cake with us! It was a great day!

Nice pics Kirst, except for the candid one of Jeff just inconspicuously eating his cake and well...I'm not even going to comment on mine! Haha! I love the laughing one of Mark with an angry Stephan on his lap. Cute!
How fun. It is so fun to be able to see BOTH of your parents in so many of your siblings! Looks like it was such a fun night. :)
